Language
Access to culture and rules
Language is not only an exam subject. It is how people understand context, build trust, and become recognized on a larger stage.
About Foghlai
Foghlai is an independent AI-assisted language exam practice workspace built from a simple belief: even as AI makes information easier to reach, language remains one of the deepest interfaces to culture, trust, rules, and opportunity.
Builder's note
Technology should help learners see themselves more clearly, not replace their effort or create more anxiety.
Foghlai is built for learners who still want to do the work, but want each practice session to give them a clearer next step.
Language
Language is not only an exam subject. It is how people understand context, build trust, and become recognized on a larger stage.
AI
AI should support a learner's goal instead of becoming the goal. Foghlai uses AI to make practice feedback faster, clearer, and easier to review.
Care
Real progress still depends on motivation, repetition, and effort. Foghlai is designed to make that effort more visible and focused.
Why
As AI becomes common, it can feel like knowledge and language matter less because information is easier to access. I believe the opposite. Language still shapes how people understand a culture, enter a set of rules, and create opportunities beyond their original environment.
Foghlai starts with IELTS because exam preparation makes this tension very concrete: learners need scores, but they also need a repeatable way to practice, receive feedback, and understand their own progress.
AI use
AI scoring and feedback are not meant to be a shortcut. They are meant to help people stay in control of their own goals by making practice more legible: what happened, what changed, and what should be tried next.
That is the product ethic behind Foghlai. It should help learners review their effort with less confusion and less anxiety, while still respecting that language progress comes from inner motivation and sustained work.
Builder
Foghlai is built as my independent personal project. My professional work is in cloud and artificial intelligence at a global technology company, which gives me a close view of what modern AI systems can do and why they need to be used carefully.
Foghlai is not affiliated with my employer, IELTS, or any official test provider. It is a personal product shaped by a practical belief: technology should serve people's growth, not distract from it.
Stage
Foghlai is currently in invite-only beta because it is still an independent project growing carefully and iteratively. A smaller group makes it possible to improve quality, usage limits, feedback experience, and product direction before opening access more broadly.
If you are interested in collaboration, sponsorship, investment, or early product feedback, I would be glad to hear from you.
